This is a great little product – Neutrogena took the vibrating rejuvenator unit that it used for its Microdermabrasion kit and added a velcro piece that allows you to attach the rejuvenator puffs. Instructions tell you to use it for 2-3 minutes per facial area – I use it for 5-6 minutes on my entire face just before jumping in the shower in the morning. It replaces my scrub a few times a week. So far I’ve noticed drastically smoother skin – and at 27 I am looking for something to really scrub away dead skin cells and maybe even out my skin a bit. This feels like it is doing both. The puff foams up with water, and is definitely a bit scratchy. There is a pleasant smell when you are using it.

I had to take off two stars for the following: price. It’s overpriced. The unit comes with batteries, but you’re still paying -39 for a low-tech electronic vibrating device and 12 puffs. Twelve. That will last you 3 or 4 weeks at the most.

The second star is lost by the puffs themselves. They can’t be found anywhere. I’ve looked online and in the store. I’m yet to find them – so I am hoping I do so before I run out of the ones that came with the unit.

UPDATE 1/4/08 – refill puffs are now available on both Amazon and major retail stores. There was quite a delay there, though, so I know the early adopters were really sweating it out. Whew!

The experience of using the skin rejuvenator I found most appealing for the sense of relaxation and glamour I felt. The overall sense was of a warm massage for the facial areas – certainly a treat for those like myself who, though well past the age where wrinkles may be expected to evaporate, love a sense of beauty and pampering. It would be an excellent gift – unless, of course, it were given to anyone who’d be insulted at the thought of needing ‘rejuvenation.’

The product leaves one’s skin feeling very smooth and soft, and there is no irritation (as one might have with certain scrubs). The pressure is light – sufficient to give the ‘massage’ effect, but not at all rough to the touch. Overall, it is a delightful beauty product.

First of all, I understand that not every product will work for every individual. But, this one is far exceeding my expectations. I did some research online before I bought this. What I found was that what seemed to work the best for people was a combination of salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. I looked at the wide array of acne treatments I had at home and they were ALL salicylic acid, but no benzoyl peroxide. I thought it was worth a shot.

I’m 35 and acne runs in my family. My mom still has it. I was starting to develop very deep, painful acne that would heal in one place and then show up in another place. Nothing I was doing was getting rid of it. I found this Neutrogena system and I noticed some improvement the very next day. I’m a little over a week into it now and I can’t believe the improvement! I’m going to recommend this product to anyone I know who battles with acne, like I did.

Realistically, I know I’ll probably still have the occasional breakout. But this worked wonders on the constant problems I was experiencing before. One of the things I REALLY like about this, is it’s only 2 steps. Wash and moisturize/protect. I don’t have the time or the patience for a whole routine with various products. I love that I just have to wash and apply cream. Overall I think this is a wonderful product and half the price of Proactiv (which I understand is a 3 step process anyway).

I am in my early 30’s and have been experiencing severe and embarassing break-outs along my jaw line, chin and cheeks for the past couple of years. I have tried Murad, Proactiv, AcneFree and many other systems without success.

A month ago I picked up the Neutrogena system when I saw it on sale. Within five days days my skin started to clear. Now, I have a completely clear complexion and have not had a single break-out since starting the system. I have had no problems with drying and my skin is much softer than before. Finally, a product that works and comes at a decent price!

I was a bit skeptical about weather this product would help me, but I’m glad I tried it. I am 52 and have some crow’s feet and forehead wrinkles and generally not great skin tone. This product has really helped the appearance of my skin. The improvement was noticed after the first use, mostly an improvement in the tone,brightness, and smoothness of my skin. After using the product 3-4 times a week for a couple months, the forehead lines and crows feet are still visible, but much less pronounced. It also seems to have help the firmness of my neck, which is starting to look a bit saggy.

Another tip: after using the pad on my face, I use it to smooth my knees, feet, and ankles to prepare for self-tanning lotion. Follow up with a good moisturizing lotion before applying the self-tanner. Results are smooth and naturally-looking. I use one of the gradual self-tanners designed to be used every time you moisturize, but I only use it every couple days or so, just for a little color.

These are the replacement puffs for the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Rejuvenator. The box comes with two plastic tubes of puffs (enough for 8 weeks at the recommended 3X/week) and replacement plastic snap-on piece which the puffs attach to. The product is great (and reviewed by many on the main page for the product — suggest checking it out). The puffs are a little perfumy out of the box, but once you’ve wet them and they’ve lathered up a bit they aren’t too bad, and the scent washes off completely when you rinse your face. I’d give these 5 stars if they were unscented, but it’s not that big a deal. I had no problem ordering them from Amazon.

Remember the days when the only soap for the bath or shower came in a bar? Well, I certainly do. Around 1990, I switched to using Ivory Dishwashing Liquid in the shower. It’s a long story. Actually, the Ivory worked quite well and kept the shower free of soap scum much better. It was gentle on the skin and did an excellent job of cleansing. My only complaint was that it was harder to rinse off the body than other types of soap. About that time a few liquid soaps began appearing and I gradually shifted over to a variety of different brands, usually the one that was on sale as they were all somewhat expensive. My fiance found me in this state and introduced me to “Neutrogena Rainbath” shower and bath gel. I immediately adapted to it and our joint usage added a little efficiency to the household.

“Neutrogena Rainbath” is an excellent product. It cleanses as well as any shower liquid I’ve used and has a pleasant and refreshing smell. My fiance claims it leaves her skin in better condition, but I can’t really tell. I like it because it washes off clean fairly easily and leaves a pleasant light fragrance. On occasion, my fiance uses it to shave her legs, but she usually prefers to use a specialized gel. We generally prefer to buy it in the 40-ounce bottle, which lasts a long time and fits neatly on a little shelf in our shower.

I have used a solution of these two products Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment, Vanishing Formula, .75-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 3) and Neutrogena Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment, Oil-Free Acne Wash, 9.1 fl oz (270 ml) Bottles (Pack of 3) and this have been the only thing that I have needed for have my face clean of acne for the last year.

I use the cream in the night before go to sleep and the soap gel for washing my face on the morning.

When you start using it you can use it more often if you want but is going to dry your face, I see results after 20 days.

A friend of mine also use it and she now have her face clean, it tooked more time to her but it cleared her face.

Excellent product overall!!!

Note: You have to use it EVERY DAY, the day that you don’t use it, it is going to start appearing acne in your face, as long as you use it every day everything is fine.

i was previously using Aveeno Ultra-Calming Night Cream because I love that the feverfew extract keeps my face from becoming red and irritated. This night cream is above and beyond better than that ever was. This not only has the feverfew extract but also contains anti-aging ingredients that smooth out fine lines. It has a light, sweet, almost fruity smell and glides on smoothly. I only wish that instead of a tube it came in a pump bottle like their Healthy Skin lotion does.

First, I’ll describe my skin: very fair with freckels, very fine lines around eyes and mouth that are only noticable when my skin is really dry. I have occasional acne, one or two pimples per month. I’m in my late 20’s.

Originally, I started using the night cream back in November for both day and night and on my eyes. Within weeks I noticed a difference in my skin tone. My overall tone was more even, my skin was softer, and wearing it under makeup, my skin looked really good on the Christmas pictures. After Christmas, I decided to give the day lotion a try. The reason I put off on the day lotion is because the night cream was working so well for me and my makeup has an SPF in it, so I thought I would just wait to buy it. Well, I noticed a big difference when I started wearing the day lotion in the day and the night cream at night. During the day my skin was greasier, enough so that I stopped wearing it everyday.

The reason I didn’t give this 4 stars is because I would liked to have seen more of the age spots/freckels fade.

I really like this soap, in fact I made a subscription for it. I have eczema and it’s something that’s helped me for years. I even carry a little travel bottle of it in my purse to use at public restrooms. They had it at Costco at one time, but then I couldn’t find it for a long time and was so grateful Amazon had it. Now, I’ve received my shipment and was at Costco the other day and saw they are now stocking it again and when I saw their price, and I realize that I really paid too much. [...] and then the 20% off neutrogena coupon on the subscription, if they let you do that, would not get it to be a better deal [...] I just wanted to warn everyone to realize this is only three bottles and is right now a terrible deal. 5 stars for the soap, 1 star for the price… If this is the only place you can find it, then it’s probably worth it, but just check around because even my local grocery store can beat [...] a bottle.

I had somehow developed a strange waxy buildup in my hair that I couldn’t get out with other shampoos. My best guess is that it was a combination of cream rinse and shampoo that didn’t play well together, but once it was there, it was almost as if I’d been using a pomade or something and I couldn’t figure out how to get rid of the waxy buildup in my hair.

I first tried quitting the cream rinse and then switching up the shampoos, but there was always this waxy residue that nothing seemed to get rid of.

Until this. It’s pricey and I don’t especially like the smell (like baby powder on steroids to me), but it could be worse. And wow, it was just what I needed.

A month later: Okay, I just really like this shampoo (except for the smell, which I guess I’m getting used to). It leaves my long hair consistently gorgeous… I wish I could explain better what I mean. My hair seems very smooth and manageable and healthy whereas normally, I tend to have a kind of too full / too frizzy issue to deal with. This is more like my younger hair, when I didn’t have to think about any of this so much.

Also, FWIW, I’ve realized that you don’t need to use as much of this shampoo as most shampoos, which mitigates the price.

My hair and I are hooked.

Update: My first bottle came from the grocery store and then I just ordered this from Amazon. First, it IS three bottles, so they fixed the problem noted by some reviewers. Second, with Subscribe & Save, the price is in the ballpark of half what it costs in the grocery store. Third, it still smells.
